Standards & certification

We certify Singapore’s saunas and bathhouses against the Sauna Society Asia Standard — one benchmark for the whole region, carried here by our assessors. Certification carries a small fee that covers the Society’s running costs. The mark itself is earned on merit and can never be bought.

How it works

Four steps to the mark

  1. Apply

    Any sauna or bathhouse in Singapore can apply.

  2. Assessment

    Our team will be in touch to schedule the assessment.

  3. Certification

    Venues that meet the standard join the Society Certified Venues list, with the mark.

  4. Renewal

    Annual re-check to keep the mark up to date.
